Whitmer: Michigan to lift all COVID-19-related restrictions Tuesday
This follows a statewide rise in vaccinations.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced the state is lifting all COVID-19 restrictions this Tuesday, June 22, ahead of the initial July 1st date.
“Today is a day that we have all been looking forward to, as we can safely get back to normal day-to-day activities and put this pandemic behind us,” said Whitmer in a press release.
So far, the state of Michigan has only vaccinated 60% of its population as of June 10th.
