Toledo and Pittsburgh NewsGuilds to hold news conference to voice concerns about leadership: The Toledo and Pittsburgh News Guilds will hold a joint news conference Friday at 9 a.m. to voice their concerns about the Block family, which owns The Blade, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Buckeye Cable and many more media entities.

2017 homicide suspect arrested: On August 5th, 2017, Toledo Police were dispatched to 3240 Lagrange on the call of a person shot. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim, Calvin Gholikely, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Gholikely was treated at the scene and transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital where he later died.

Toledo homicide suspect arrested by U.S. Marshals in Los Angeles: On July 1st, 2020, Toledo Police were dispatched to 949 Fries on the call of a person shot. Officers arrived and located the victim, Marquese Robbins, inside the residence suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Robbins was treated at the scene and transported to Toledo Hospital where he later died.

TPD requesting public help in identifying robbery suspect: On December 26th, 2020, the suspect in this video entered a restaurant on the 4300 block of Heatherdowns, produced a gun, and robbed an employee of cash.
